I bought a Christmas bush yesterday so that it would seem a little more festive in the house. It's a tropical pine and the perfect size for a wiener dog, so I tried taking a photo of her in her reindeer suit, but she wasn't having it. Impossible to get a photo of her next to the Christmas bush that wasn't blurry. It was entertaining though. The suit has bells on it, so she jingled a lot.
She's much happier naked.
A couple weeks ago, Aaron accidentally knocked my favorite little plate (by Pretty Little Thieves) off the wall. It shattered into a million pieces. I almost cried but then decided to turn it into an opportunity to buy another piece.
I was so excited to get the package in the mail! I'm going to put the print up in my office. It just needs a frame. Yay.
Now that school is finally out, I've had a little bit of time to do some of the things I enjoy. I made some new pieces for the shop. This art deco necklace is my favorite, so naturally, I made one for myself. It's a deadstock vintage pendant on a new gold plated chain. It reminds me of the Mayan theater.
Last night I went for drinks with friends. It's been a while since I'd seen Melisa. Her sister recently moved to Denver, so she came out too. My friend Katherine met us, Marissa came and entertained us, and unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. But I left the house! And did something fun! Yay.
Just don't take some black thread and tie a big horn on the top of her head! That's what the Grinch did to his dog, Max. You're better than the Grinch.
